I stopped here after running the 5k that Vacation Races puts on. I was fairly hungry and they were only a ten minute walk from my room. I ordered the burger with fries and sweet tea. It was all tasty. The burger could have been cooked a little longer for my tastes. The fries were good and they give you a ton. Staff was super friendly! I also like the decor with an old timber feel.

After spending a chilly rainy day in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park we emerged out in the town of Townsend. Being a small town I didn't know what to expect for dinner eating places. Thank you Yelp for having this place listed. If you want good old faction home cooked meals, this is the place to go! Friendly staff and great food, met another couple and we shared a table for four. Felt like family there. The pot roast dinner will fill your belly and then some. My wife had the fried baloney sandwich and loved it. If you're in this town and looking for a place to get some great food and make new friends, this would be the place.
Decided to stop here for a late lunch on our way to Pigeon Forge. 5 people in our group and everyone really enjoyed their food. Burgers, liver and onions, pot roast and Philly sandwich. All good choices. Good home style cooking and we had a great server!
